Week 10:Maya
Week 7:Face Rigging
In this lesson there were some minor problems with the binding of the face, such as some minor problems with the material. I will address these issues together with the body rigging when they are completed.

Week 6:The Face
In this session the previous model was UV split and given materials and textures. After rendering it was found that the textures fit well, but the lighting and shading could be improved and I will follow up with changes and updates.

Week 5:Head
In this week’s class I learnt about portrait making. For me personally it was a good opportunity to review. Although I had studied this part before, I realised that I had forgotten some of the details during Nick’s lecture, so this lesson was very important to me and I realised that revision is very important. After the production was completed, I made additional sections for the ears.

Week 3:Hot Air Balloon and Bottle
While working on the hot air balloon for this session, Nick told us that this piece would be in collaboration with Nuke, so I added some extra details and once again used Substance Painter to add textures to the model.
At the end of the lesson, I expanded to create a red wine bottle, made the corresponding wine glass and found web material to use Substance Painter to create a texture instead of just giving it a material, which seemed to work fine .

Week 2:LEGO
The LEGO Spider-Man!
As I suffer from covid-19, I did my first lesson online. When I saw that the lesson was about making Lego man, I thought of using Substance Painter for more content and I thought that’s what I should do for my study at LCC, is to do more.
As I really like Spider-Man,I split the LEGO man’s UV and imported it into Substance Painter for painting with the reference, then went back to Maya and gave the model this texture, which looks pretty good.

Week 1:Car
This week I had to go online for class because I was isolated and I made up my car homework for the week at the back. There are still many areas for improvement and I will be working on these as I learn.
